Distribution
The shareware version of ViewIt obtained from a CD-ROM, electronic BBS, user group, etc., may be redistributed if the original files are not modified and no fee is charged for such redistribution. Programmers using the shareware version of ViewIt can continue to do so on a trial basis for 30 days, but must then purchase the commercial version from FaceWare to continue using ViewIt.
Purchasers of the latest version of ViewIt may distribute ViewIt-related resources with their finished applications as long as (1) a copyright notice sufficient to protect their software in United States and other countries is included, and (2) they do not distribute demo program source or the "Stor" and "Proc" interface files that accompany modules.
Purchasers of the latest version of ViewIt are also entitled to direct technical support by phone or electronic mail, and are kept informed of major upgrades and new products.
Copying and redistribution of FaceWare modules in any manner other than that described above would be a violation of federal law and may result in criminal as well as civil penalties.
Trademarks
The names of all FaceWare modules shipped with ViewIt are trademarks of FaceWare. Other product names are trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective manufacturers.
